Silent Gliss Metropole
Silent Gliss Metropole looks like a curtain pole but features an internal gliding channel, offering the functionality and benefits of a curtain track. The range balances quality and functionality, with design to offer a timeless and elegant window solution. Metropole is available in 3 round profiles; 23mm (hand operated), 30mm (hand operated or corded) and 50mm (hand operated, corded or motorised), and a rectangular profile (36mm hand operated) Metroflat. Silent Gliss 50mm Motorised Metropole with 5600 Motorised Track
The beauty of the 50mm Metropole coupled with the Silent Gliss 5600 motorised track combines style and high performance. A motorised track is ideal for hard to reach curtains and for added convenience and luxury. The 50mm Metropole is available in a choice of 10 contemporary colours, from striking metallics to muted and neutral shades, with a range of finial styles to choose from to suit contemporary, traditional and blended interior design styles. This 50mm Metropole fits over the motorised track and comes with adjustable Maxi brackets as standard, gliders and a fittings pack to install the track. Please note the fittings supplied are suitable for solid walls. Please ensure specific plasterboard fixings are used for plasterboard walls.
Silent Gliss 5600 Motorised Track
The Silent Gliss 5600 is the ultimate electric track that offers smooth, super silent and fast operation. Please specify the total track length (the Silent Gliss motor will be included within this length) in the cut to size box (please note the track length will exclude any Metropole finials). The 5600 is available with hard wired or radio control options. The new ‘Touch and Go’ feature offers an extra benefit for easy operation. Simply pull the curtain and it will automatically open or close. The track is also quipped with a manual override feature in case of power failure.
The 5600 track is available in white, black or silver to complement the colour of your Metropole. This can be specified when ordering your motorised Metropole track.

Ideal for Extra Wide Windows, Bi-Fold and Sliding Doors
As the brackets fix from the top of the track the Metropole tracks are ideal for extra wide windows, bi-fold or sliding doors as the curtains can run smoothly along the complete length of the pole. A single curtain can draw from one side to the other without any interference from any brackets.
Bracket Options
Metropoles can be wall or ceiling fixed. A ceiling mounted Metropole will blend with the architecture of the room giving the curtains maximum impact. If ceiling fixing the 9mm fixing top plate will be supplied with the flush, stud and designer end caps. The top fix bracket will be supplied with all other finial styles to ensure clearance for the finials.
For wall fixing, these Metropole tracks are supplied with the adjustable maxi bracket as standard for all types of gliders. Fillet style wall fix brackets are also available offering a contemporary option.
The Silent Gliss brackets are supplied with colour-matched magnetic covers for a stylish finish. Please see the bracket tab for more information on the bracket options.
Glider Options
The roller gliders are suitable for pencil, gathered, pinch pleat or Swiss pleat curtains. 60mm or 80mm wave gliders are required for wave curtains.
Suitable for Bay Windows
Metropoles can be bent for a bay or L shaped window. We do need to bend the tracks for you in the factory as they can’t be bent by hand.
