The Laura Ashley 28mm Metal Curtain Pole Swirl Ball features ball style finials with delicately trailing leaves and swirling vines.

Curtain Pole Contents
The Laura Ashley Swirl Ball curtain pole comes as a complete pole kit including pole(s), brackets, rings, finials and fixings with fitting instructions. Please note the fixings supplied are suitable for solid walls so if you are drilling into plasterboard walls we would recommend purchasing specific plasterboard fixings.
2 brackets are supplied with the 180cm pole, and 3 brackets are supplied with the 240cm and 360cm poles. The 240cm and 360cm poles come in 2 pieces with a joining piece. The joining piece fits inside the poles and the centre bracket will support the join. 1 curtain ring is supplied for every 10cm of pole. Poles can be cut to size at home with a junior hacksaw, or for a small charge we can cut the poles to size for you.

The 180cm pole is supplied as a single pole with 2 brackets. The 240cm and 360cm poles are supplied in 2 pieces with a joining piece (that fits inside the poles) and 3 brackets (a centre bracket to support the join).
We offer a cut to size service on the Laura Ashley curtain poles. If you would like the pole cutting down please specify the length in cm you would like the pole cutting to in the ‘cut to size service’ box. Please note the pole length excludes the finials. Please note poles over 180cm will be supplied in 2 pieces.

Bracket Text: 2 brackets are supplied with the 180cm pole. A centre bracket is also included on the 240cm and 360cm poles as these come in 2 pieces with a joining piece. This fits inside the poles.
Bracket is 95mm height x 20mm width and the bracket projection 85mm.
1 ring for every 10cm of pole is supplied in the pole kits.

These curtain poles are suitable for all curtain heading types.
You will need rings if you opt for a pencil pleat, pinch pleat or other taped curtain heading style.
Rings are not required for eyelet curtains, tab top, tie or channel curtains. Unfortunately we are unable to take the rings out of the Laura Ashley pole sets but they can be taken off the poles if not required.
Eyelet curtain recommendations: 40mm eyelets are ideal for 28mm poles and can be specified when ordering made to measure eyelet curtains.
Readymade eyelet curtains typically come with 40mm eyelets so go well with a 28mm pole.

Readymade curtains are only suitable for curtain poles up to 360cm. If you require curtains to fit a wider pole, or you have a drop longer than the standard readymade drops made to measures curtains are the perfect choice.
Measuring Guide for a Curtain Pole:
Decide where the pole is to be positioned. This is usually above the window with the pole extending either side beyond the window.
Step 1: Measure the width of your window.
Step 2: The chart below provides guidance for making an allowance either side of your window for your curtain stack (shown as ‘B’ on the diagram above). This is particularly important if you want the curtains to clear the glazing when open. Please note the curtain heading, fabric thickness and lining specification will affect the width of the stack back. How much you would like the curtains to clear the window is down to personal preference. The chart below is however a good guide.
Step 3: Add the width of your window onto the B measurement (x2 for a pair of curtains) to give you a finished pole length (A).
Please note this is just a guide so we recommend choosing the pole length available within your preferred curtain pole range that best suits your requirements. All poles can be cut to size with a junior hacksaw. We offer a cut to size service on the Laura Ashley curtain poles.

Whilst we will endeavour to fulfil our delivery promises once the goods leave our warehouse we do rely on 3rd parties to fulfil their obligations. We therefore recommend that a fitter or decorator isn’t booked until the goods are safely in your hands and have been checked for damage and any missing items.
