Please state in cm without adding any other text. Please note for bay tracks the tracks will arrive oversized to be cut to size on site for a precise fit. To ensure you are charged correctly, please add up the length of the sides of your bay and specify this in the exact track length box.
  • Please note: we do need to know when ordering this track if you are planning to bend it. The profile for a bent track is different to a straight track to enable you to bend it by hand. For bay or L shaped windows, please specify a ‘bent’ track when ordering so the correct profile is manufactured. The track will also arrive with a wooden bending former.
    Please note the short horizontal brackets are not suitable for surf gliders as they don't project the track far enough away from the wall for the folds on a wave curtain. Please refer to bracket tab below for bracket dimensions and information.

  • This track is supplied with 14 gliders per metre as standard. Please note the correct number of surf gliders will be supplied for your track length.

Cameron Fuller Uncorded Square 30 Curtain Track with Ball Finials – can be bent by hand for bay windows

The Cameron Fuller Square 30 track is available in 7 contemporary colours to co-ordinate with your interiors.  The colours range from classic white and warm neutrals, to cooler greys and black.  Tracks are available up to 3m as a single piece, and can be joined to make up longer lengths.  This track is supplied with a classic ball finial.  A cap style finial is also available.  The tracks are available with standard gliders for pencil, pinch pleat or gathered headings.  Surf gliders are also available making the tracks suitable to hang wave curtains.  Curtain tracks are not suitable for eyelet curtains.  We offer a free cut to size service on the Cameron Fuller straight tracks so can dispatch them to your exact length.  Please note bent tracks will be supplied oversized to be cut on site for a precise fit.  Tracks over 300cm will be supplied in 2 or more pieces with a track joiner(s).

Wave Curtains

This track can be supplied with surf gliders so the tracks are compatible with the wave curtain heading style.  6omm or 80mm surf gliders can be specified when ordering your track.  The correct amount of surf gliders will be supplied for your track length. Please click here for more information on the Wave system.  Please note all tracks will be supplied with a magnetic glider brake when surf gliders are specified.  The glider brake ensures the leading edge of the wave curtain sits neatly stacked when your curtains are open.  Please see the glider tab for further information.

Bay Windows

Brackets

When ceiling (top) fixing this track, the track screws directly into the ceiling so no brackets are required.  For wall fixing Cameron Fuller offer a range of options to suit your installation requirements.  A standard and standard horizontal bracket are available with a 57mm projection.  The horizontal bracket is ideal if fitting the track where space is limited to fix your brackets.  Adjustable wall fix brackets are also available with either a 75mm-100mm or 110mm-150mm projection.  These may be required if you have a deep windowsill or if you have a radiator underneath your window and would like your curtains to fall in front of the radiator.  A short horizontal bracket is also available with a 30mm projection.  Please note the bracket cover plate must be fitted on this bracket before you fix the track.  Please see the bracket tab for further information.

Measuring Guide for a Curtain Track:

Decide where the track is to be positioned. This is usually above the window with the track extending either side beyond the window.

Step 1: Measure the width of your window.

Step 2: The chart below provides guidance for making an allowance either side of your window for your curtain stack (shown as ‘B’ on the diagram above). This is particularly important if you want the curtains to clear the glazing when open. Please note the curtain heading, fabric thickness and lining specification will affect the width of the stack back. How much you would like the curtains to clear the window is down to personal preference. The chart below however is a good guide.

Step 3: Add the width of your window onto the ‘B’ measurement (x 2 for a pair of curtains) to give you the finished track length (A).

Recess Fitting

If you are fitting your track wall to wall or within a recess we recommend you take the wall to wall measurement and deduct 1cm for hand drawn and corded tracks to ensure the track can be fitted easily within the recess. For motorised tracks we recommend you deduct 2cm from your wall to wall measurement to ensure enough space to fit the curtain around the motor.

Measuring Curtain Track lengths for Wave Curtains

If you are opting for a wave curtain the stack back is a mathematical calculation. A curtain stacks back 18cm per metre of curtain track with an 80mm wave heading, and 23cm per metre of track with a 60mm wave heading.

Please see the example below:

On a 3m track for a pair of curtains with an 80mm wave the stack back will be 3m x 18cm = 54cm / 2 = 27cm each side.

For a single curtain the curtain will stack 54cm one side.

On a 3m track for a pair of curtains with a 60mm wave the stack back will be 3m x 23cm = 69cm / 2 = 34.5cm each side.

For a single curtain the curtain will stack 69cm one side.

Wave curtains are particularly popular over bi-fold or sliding doors or over large expanses of floor to ceiling glass. If there is wall space to the side of the glazing the track length can be worked out so the curtain neatly sits on the side wall(s) clearing the glazing to allow the light to flood into your room.

Whilst we will endeavour to fulfil our delivery promises once the goods leave our warehouse we do rely on 3rd parties to fulfil their obligations.  We therefore recommend that a fitter or decorator isn’t booked until the goods are safely in your hands and have been checked for damage and any missing items.  We cannot be held responsible for any fitter or decorator cancellations.

Prior to ordering!
