The gentle, romantic Grand Botanical collection by Prestigious Textiles is quintessentially English, taking its design inspiration from the spectacular Kew Gardens. The soft florals, foliage and rose-covered trellises are mixed with the contrasting, more angular geometric designs of Arbour and Greenhouse.
Gentle muted colour ways and the romantic floral designs in cottons, embroidery and sheers lend themselves as a collection to our Floral Romantic Trend.
Arboretum
There are 11 designs in the collection. This includes Arboretum (pictured above), an intricately designed print on a 100% cotton fabric. Arboretum is available in 3 subtle colour ways: Posey, Rose Water and Lemon Grass. The print displays a selection of trees, birds and Kew’s spectacular glass houses to bring the natural surroundings outside into any room setting.
Almond Blossom
The Almond Blossom brings a fresh simplicity with an array of almond blossom sprigs set on a pebble, porcelain or posey ground (See image 1 below).
Fragrant, Magnolia & Hot House
Fragrant (Image 2), Magnolia (Image 3) and Hot House (Image 4) are all traditional floral romantic designs. These fabrics would enhance a traditional, cottage style and create an air of warmth and homeliness. They would sit perfectly in their muted colour ways with pastel shades of rustic or painted vintage furniture.
Flower Press
Grand Botanical also includes the striking Flower Press design (Image 1). This depicts a collection of individually pressed flowers in a bolder, large pattern repeat. Available in 4 colour ways: Peach Blossom, Rose Water, Primrose and Lemon Grass on a 100% cotton ground. This design is sure to bring a breath of summer air into your home.
Orangery
Orangery is a more intricate design (Image 2) available in 5 colour ways. These include the gentle and romantic pinks: Posey and Sugared Almond. A design of entwined roses in bloom wound on a trellis, Orangery incorporates the contrast of the straight lines with the curves of the petals and foliage.
Lilypad – Wide Width Voile
Lilypad is a soft wide width floral voile, perfect for wave curtains. The beautifully designed pattern of lilies and and their pads complement the rest of the collection in this floaty and light linen mix fabric. The muted colour tones of Pebble, Porcelain and Peach Blossom perfectly complement the fabric and design. It comes with a pre-weighted band and, at 3 metres wide, is used with its width for length. The direction of the design is as shown in the pattern book.
Sprig – Embroidery
Sprig is an elegant embroidery. Encapsulating sprigs of flowers, leaves and ferns, it has a lightness and a crisp edge, bringing a fresh uplifting feel to your room scheme. It is available in 3 colour ways: Posey, Rose Water and Lemon Grass. The material is a mix of Cotton and Polyester. This would be a great choice for floor length double pinch pleat curtains. Arbour & Greenhouse
Both geometric in design, these 100% cotton fabrics bring in the contrasting linear designs that sit so comfortably with the curvaceous swirls and rounds of the petals and leaves. Arbour (Image 1) is available in Pebble, Porcelain and Rose Water, whilst Greenhouse (Image 2) comes in 2 colour ways: the crisper tones of Apple and Porcelain. These designs with their repeated regular shapes both sit perfectly in our Geometric Trend.
