Silent Gliss Chain Operated Roller Blind System 4910

The Silent Gliss 4910 is a chain operated Roller Blind System that uses a refined spring, which ensures smooth, fingertip operation even on the largest sizes.  While standard systems are optimised for either upward or downward movement, Silent Gliss roller blinds handle both with technical sophistication. The elaborate inbuilt spring enables an equal and unparalleled smooth lifting and lowering of the blind.

This blind is suitable for windows up to 2.4m wide with a 3m drop.  Weight capacity is 3kg.

For a motorised system for light to medium weight blinds we would recommend the Silent Gliss 4960 roller blind system.  If you are looking for a larger blind we would recommend the Silent Gliss 4930 roller blind for a chain operated roller blind, or the Silent Gliss 4970 for a motorised roller blind solution.

This roller blind system is now available in black as a standard colour.  The following key components are supplied in black:

Double System Options

To order side by side blinds, purchase two blinds with the combined finished width equal to the total system width and add a note in the comments section that the blinds are to be installed side by side.  We will supply the blinds with double blind fittings and the additional 10632 intermediate cover.

A Silent Gliss continuous roller blind headrail is useful in a few situations:

  • When fixing is not possible at the end of the blind. This could be the case if the blind is being fitted to a window that is too large for a standard headrail, or if the window is in a difficult-to-reach location.
  • When a clean, minimalist look is desired. The continuous headrail gives the blind a sleek, uninterrupted appearance that is ideal for modern interiors.

The continuous headrail is an optional extra. However, it is a worthwhile investment if you need a blind that is easy to fit, looks great, and is practical for your needs.

Here are some additional benefits of using a continuous roller blind headrail:

  • Easy to install: The continuous headrail can be installed quickly and easily, even by a DIYer.
  • Durable: The continuous headrail is made from high-quality materials and is designed to last for many years.
  • Versatile: The continuous headrail can be used with a variety of different blind fabrics, giving you the flexibility to create the perfect look for your home.

The continuous headrail is supplied with clamp brackets that can be fitted anywhere along the headrail.

The standard specification is for a fabric covered bottom bar.  Round or rectangular bottom bars are also available in white, grey or black.  These have been designed to improve fabric hanging.

Please note if ordering the blind with a fascia box a rectangular bottom bar will be supplied.

Once an order has been placed and processed our customer service team will be in touch via email to advise a dispatch date and send a tracking link if available.  The lead-time information on all products is advised in the product description or product specification tabs on the product pages.  If you’d like us to check stock or advise delivery timings for a specific product please give us a call on 01590 615775 and a member of the team will be delighted to help.

Whilst we will endeavour to fulfil our delivery promises once the goods leave our warehouse we do rely on 3rd parties to fulfil their obligations.  We therefore recommend that a fitter or decorator isn’t booked until the goods are safely in your hands and have been checked for damage and any missing items.  We cannot be held responsible for any fitter or decorator cancellations.

Prior to ordering!
