Jones Lunar 28mm Oak Curtain Poles
The Jones Lunar 28mm oak curtain pole range is one of our best selling ranges. It is a brand we highly recommend as it offers exceptional quality at fantastic prices with stylish finial designs. The oak poles are a mid oak in colour and complement other oak furnishings such as wooden floors and contemporary oak doors.
Curtain Pole Contents
This Jones Lunar 28mm Oak Curtain Pole comes with pole(s), brackets (7cm, 11cm or ceiling fix), rings (if specified) and two Cage Finials. We offer a cut to size service on the Jones Lunar pole range. Co-ordinating holdbacks and draw rods are also available. Draw rods are a popular accessory as they enable you to open and close your curtains without touching them. Please note draw rods are not compatible with eyelet curtains. The Jones holdbacks look very stylish when used as a tieback hook with one of the Jones tiebacks.
Bracket Advice
The standard wall fix brackets are available with a 7cm or 11cm projection which is the measurement from the wall to the middle of the pole. If you have eyelet curtains you may wish to consider the 11cm brackets as these project further away from the wall, ensuring room for the eyelet folds. The 11cm brackets are also useful if you would like your pencil pleat or pinch pleat curtains to sit further away from the wall, which can be helpful if you have a radiator underneath the window or a deep windowsill. The 7cm brackets will reduce light ingress around the edges of the curtains and will help to retain more heat as the curtains will sit closer to the walls.
Ceiling fix brackets are also available (please note the ceiling fix bracket isn’t suitable for eyelet curtains as the bracket stem isn’t long enough for an eyelet heading).
Extra brackets, recess brackets and passing brackets are available in the Jones Lunar range should you require these. Passing brackets are recommended on longer pole lengths to offer additional support. Please note passing brackets are only compatible with the 7cm standard bracket and for curtain headings that require rings (as eyelet curtains cannot passover the passing brackets).

Poles up to and including 240cm are supplied as a single pole. The 360cm and 480cm poles are supplied in 2 pieces with a joining screw to connect the 2 poles. The join will be concealed by the centre bracket.
Contents: these curtain poles are supplied with poles, 7cm, 11cm or ceiling fix brackets, rings (if required), 2 finials and all the fittings required to install the poles.

These curtain poles are suitable for all curtain heading types.
You will need rings if you opt for a pencil pleat, pinch pleat or other taped curtain heading style.
Rings are not required for eyelet curtains, tab top, tie or channel curtains.
Eyelet curtain recommendations: 40mm eyelets are ideal for 28mm poles and can be specified when ordering made to measure eyelet curtains.
Readymade eyelet curtains typically come with 40mm eyelets so go well with a 28mm pole.

Made to Measure Curtains:
You may prefer made to measure curtains for your curtain pole. Shop our range of fabrics that can be made into beautiful curtains to fit your requirements.
Readymade curtains are only suitable for curtain poles up to 360cm. If you require curtains to fit a wider pole, or you have a drop longer than the standard readymade drops made to measures curtains are the perfect choice.

Once an order has been placed and processed our customer service team will be in touch via email to advise a dispatch date and send a tracking link if available. The lead-time information on all products is advised in the product description or product specification tabs on the product pages. Whilst we will endeavour to fulfil our delivery promises once the goods leave our warehouse we do rely on 3rd parties to fulfil their obligations. We therefore recommend that a fitter or decorator isn’t booked until the goods are safely in your hands and have been checked for damage and any missing items. We cannot be held responsible for any fitter or decorator cancellations.

To reduce the likelihood of having to return a product, we do recommend paint sample pots, wallpaper and fabric swatches are ordered prior to ordering the full sized items.
