We are delighted to have opened a retail shop and design showroom, in our home village of Brockenhurst, in the heart of the New Forest. A huge thank-you to everyone who has worked so hard to make our vision a reality! We are truly grateful.
For over 50 years, through various ownership, the property has been well known as a hairdressing salon! We loved the vintage hairdryers!
The Retail Shop – nationwide delivery available on all our products
We wanted to create a light and airy feel in the retail shop area. There was a small room in the hairdressing salon used for hair washing and storing products in, so we removed this to make better use of the shop footprint. A light, natural wood effect flooring reflects the light and provides a welcoming modern look. Two rows of spotlights, featured from front to back, provides good lighting and a bright environment throughout the year. The bright and colourful Marie Burke wallpaper mural from Voyage Maison featured on the back wall is a popular talking point, and is nicely complemented by walls painted in Little Greene Slaked Lime Mid (149) Intelligent Matt Emulsion paint. The Little Greene paint display is a fabulous feature over the former fireplace. Paint samples and paint cards are stored in the drawer cabinet underneath making good use of the fireplace space.
In our retail shop we stock a wide range of Laura Ashley bedding, curtains, cushions, throws, wallpaper and paint, along with a curated selection of products from the Voyage Maison collections. We are also proud to supply Little Greene paint and wallpaper. All the Little Greene wallpaper books are available to view in our design showroom. We have a wide range of curtain poles and tracks on display in the shop from leading brands and manufacturers including Hallis Hudson, Rolls Neo, Jones Interiors, Cameron Fuller, Silent Gliss and Somfy.
The Design Showroom and our Design Services – virtual and face to face!
Our design showroom was formerly a summer room for the previous owners. When looking for a property it was imperative there was room to facilitate a long table so that clients can peruse fabric, wallpaper and blind sample books easily! The blind sample books are huge when they are opened!
The Harlequin Amazilia wallpaper in the teal/gold colour-way features on one wall of the showroom. It’s a stunning design that complements our brand colours so was the ideal choice.
We offer a range of bespoke design consultation services, virtually and face to face, from our Design Showroom located at the back of our premises. The room offers lots of natural light which is ideal when viewing samples and collating mood boards.
We have also curated a wide range of fabric and wallpaper collection books in our design showroom from leading fabric houses including Sanderson, Harlequin, Romo, GP&J Baker, Designers Guild, Morris & Co, Kobe Interior fabrics, Clarke & Clarke, Prestigious Textiles, Ashley Wilde, Warwick and Kai. Harlequin rug samples are also available to view. Through our design services we do the sieving for you! We still offer a good selection but without overwhelming you!
Made to Measure Services – nationwide delivery
We offer an express and bespoke, hand stitched made to measure curtains and roman blind making service so we can turn your favourite fabric into a beautiful window dressing to finish off your interiors.

Our Bespoke Hand Stitched Service
We can turn any fabric from the leading fabric houses into a stunning window dressing through our bespoke hand stitched made to measure curtain and roman blind service delivered in 2-3 weeks (from delivery of the fabric into our workroom). We pride ourselves on the quality of our make-up service and pay attention to all the details to ensure the customer is delighted when the goods are delivered.
Fitting Service
Locally we have a dedicated fitter we work with who can measure and install your hardware and blinds, and hang your beautiful curtains. We have other fitters we can recommend in other areas of the country so please get in touch to see if we have a fitter in your local area.
Embarking upon a project?
If you are embarking upon a renovation, extension or are building your own home please get in touch early on in your project. If you are considering any recessed or motorised products it is great to have a discussion early on in the project so they can be factored into the build. We work on projects of all sizes, so please also get in touch if we can offer any help or advice on smaller scale projects as well.
