Swish Naturals Wooden Curtain Poles
The curtain poles in the Swish Naturals wooden curtain pole range are available in a 35mm diameter with a choice of either a classic ball or traditional urn style finial. There are 5 lacquered wood grain finishes in the range from light wood tones to a dark walnut. The curtain poles can complement wooden flooring, kitchen units or other wooden furniture you may have to create a harmonious look across your home decor. Curtain Pole Contents
This 35mm wooden curtain pole is supplied with a ball style finial and comes as a complete set including brackets and rings. Poles over 180cm are supplied in 2 pieces with 3 brackets and a joining screw. 10 rings per metre are supplied as standard. Additional rings can be purchased separately. Recess brackets are also available. These are useful if you are butting up to a wall one side. The recess bracket screws into the side wall and the pole sits in the bracket on the wall. Please note these need to be ordered in addition to the pole set. Co-ordinating holdbacks are available to complete the look. Please see accessories below.

Eyelet Curtains
For a smoother draw, eyelet curtains are better suited to a metal curtain pole.

Poles 240cm and above are supplied in 2 pieces with a joining screw. 2 brackets are supplied with the shorter length poles and poles 200cm and above are supplied with 3 brackets.

Curtain Heading Recommendations:
These curtain poles are suitable for all curtain heading types, however for a smoother draw eyelet curtains are better suited to a metal curtain pole.
If you are considering readymade curtains, standard eyelets are 40mm in diameter and for a smoother draw are better suited to a curtain pole up to 32mm in diameter. The curtains will fit onto a 35mm curtain pole but you may need to help your curtains along the pole. This isn’t a problem for dress curtains or curtains that are only drawn occasionally. Made to measure eyelet curtains can be specified with a 50mm eyelet which is better suited to a 35mm curtain pole.
Curtain headings that require curtain rings such as a pencil pleat, pinch pleat or other gathered headings, are a more popular choice on a wooden curtain pole. Shop our range of readymade pencil pleat curtains including iconic and more contemporary designs from leading homeware brand Laura Ashley.
Made to Measure Curtains:
You may prefer made to measure curtains for your curtain pole. Shop our range of fabrics that can be made into beautiful curtains to fit your requirements.
Readymade curtains are only suitable for curtain poles up to 360cm. If you require curtains to fit a wider pole, or you have a drop longer than the standard readymade drops made to measures curtains are the perfect choice.

Whilst we will endeavour to fulfil our delivery promises once the goods leave our warehouse we do rely on 3rd parties to fulfil their obligations. We therefore recommend that a fitter or decorator isn’t booked until the goods are safely in your hands and have been checked for damage and any missing items. To reduce the likelihood of having to return a product, we do recommend paint sample pots, wallpaper and fabric swatches are ordered prior to ordering the full sized items.
