Jones Cathedral 30mm Handcrafted Wooden Curtain Poles
A beautiful handcrafted wooden curtain pole by Jones Interiors. The colours are layered and contrasted by hand to give a rich aged appearance. The poles are available in 4 wood finishes and there are 4 different finial styles to complement the poles.
Curtain Pole Contents
This pole set comes complete with 2 simple ball style finials, brackets and rings. 10 rings per metre are supplied as standard. A centre bracket is supplied with all poles of 240cm and above. Poles over 180cm are supplied in 2 pieces with a joining screw. Additional brackets and rings can be purchased separately. Holdbacks, draw rods and recess brackets are also available to co-ordinate with the pole colours. This pole can be cut to your exact size for a small charge.
Lead-time: Please note Jones hold some components painted / stained to the available colours in stock, however if any item does need painting / staining, as these are finished by hand in Jones’ workshop in Nottingham there is a 1 week lead-time. Once an order is placed we will be in touch to confirm a delivery date. If the goods are in stock in the colour / finish you require delivery will be 1-2 days.

Poles up to 240cm are supplied as a single pole. Poles over 240cm are supplied in 2 pieces with a joining screw to connect the 2 poles. The joining screw goes inside the poles so is hidden and the centre bracket supports the join.
Contents: these curtain poles are supplied with poles, brackets, rings (if required), 2 finials and all the fittings required to install the poles.

Curtain Heading Recommendations
These curtain poles are suitable for all curtain heading types, however for a smoother draw eyelet curtains are better suited to a metal curtain pole.

Readymade curtains are only suitable for curtain poles up to 360cm. If you require curtains to fit a wider pole, or you have a drop longer than the standard readymade drops made to measures curtains are the perfect choice.
Measuring Guide for a Curtain Pole:
Decide where the pole is to be positioned. This is usually above the window with the pole extending either side beyond the window.
Step 1: Measure the width of your window.
Step 2: The chart below provides guidance for making an allowance either side of your window for your curtain stack (shown as ‘B’ on the diagram above). This is particularly important if you want the curtains to clear the glazing when open. Please note the curtain heading, fabric thickness and lining specification will affect the width of the stack back. How much you would like the curtains to clear the window is down to personal preference. The chart below is however a good guide.
Step 3: Add the width of your window onto the B measurement (x2 for a pair of curtains) to give you a finished pole length (A).
Please note this is just a guide so we recommend choosing the pole length available within your preferred curtain pole range that best suits your requirements. All poles can be cut to size with a junior hacksaw. We offer a cut to size service on the Jones Handcrafted range.

Whilst we will endeavour to fulfil our delivery promises once the goods leave our warehouse we do rely on 3rd parties to fulfil their obligations. We therefore recommend that a fitter or decorator isn’t booked until the goods are safely in your hands and have been checked for damage and any missing items. We cannot be held responsible for any fitter or decorator cancellations.

Prior to ordering!

To reduce the likelihood of having to return a product, we do recommend paint sample pots, wallpaper and fabric swatches are ordered prior to ordering the full sized items.
