Hallis Hudson ICE Acrylic Curtain Poles

This contemporary acrylic curtain pole range from Hallis Hudson will add an air of elegance and style to your interiors. The range makes a stylish statement marrying clear translucent acrylic poles and detail in the finial designs, with modern metal accents available in a satin nickel, satin brass, polished chrome or mirrored black nickel finish. Curtain Weight Suitability

The poles are made of solid acrylic for strength, and is designed to provide the durability needed to support curtain drapes and withstand daily use, however due to the nature of the acrylic material we recommend the use of lightweight to medium curtains depending on the drop. Engineered for a smooth performance the complementing curtain rings are fully lined, to help your curtains run more smoothly along the pole without scratching.

Cut to Size

Due to the delicate nature of the acrylic substrate, these poles cannot be cut to size at home. Please use our free cut to size service (please note the pole length excludes the finials).

Curtain Pole Contents

This Hallis Hudson ICE curtain pole includes pole(s), a choice of wall or ceiling fix brackets, 10 rings per metre of pole and 2 stylised ellipse design Mineral finials. Passing brackets to give extra support to the poles, and a joining sleeve are supplied with poles 300cm and over.

Bracket Advice

Standard wall and ceiling fix brackets are available with a standard projection or an extended projection to project the curtain further away from the wall. Please see the bracket tab for bracket dimensions.

Curtain Heading Recommendations

These curtain poles are suitable for all curtain heading types that require rings such as a pencil pleat, pinch pleat or other taped curtain heading style.

Made to Measure Curtains:

You may prefer made to measure curtains for your curtain pole. Shop our range of fabrics that can be made into beautiful curtains to fit your requirements.

Readymade curtains are only suitable for curtain poles up to 360cm. If you require curtains to fit a wider pole, or you have a drop longer than the standard readymade drops made to measures curtains are the perfect choice.

Measuring Guide for a Curtain Pole:

Decide where the pole is to be positioned. This is usually above the window with the pole extending either side beyond the window.

Step 1: Measure the width of your window.

Step 2: The chart below provides guidance for making an allowance either side of your window for your curtain stack (shown as ‘B’ on the diagram above). This is particularly important if you want the curtains to clear the glazing when open. Please note the curtain heading, fabric thickness and lining specification will affect the width of the stack back. How much you would like the curtains to clear the window is down to personal preference. The chart below is however a good guide.

Step 3: Add the width of your window onto the B measurement (x2 for a pair of curtains) to give you a finished pole length (A).

Please note this is just a guide so we recommend choosing the pole length available within your preferred curtain pole range that best suits your requirements. All poles can be cut to size with a junior hacksaw. We offer a cut to size service on the Jones Shore range.
