Goblet pleat curtains are similar in their makeup to pinch pleat curtains but create a more formal traditional look. Small goblet shaped sections of fabrics are formed in the curtain heading when the fabric is gathered and pleated, these are then separated by flat sections of fabric. Pinch pleat curtain hooks are used at each goblet, so the curtains are suspended by the goblets with flat fabric between.
This heading looks best when hung beneath a curtain pole, however, can be used on a track also. If you are using on a track we would recommend one of the Silent Gliss tracks that use the break system so the curtains don’t spring back when open.
It is important to carefully measure your track or pole as curtains are made to an exact fit.

Hanging height is fixed by the position of the pins located in the back of the goblets.
Please note that the size and spacing of the pleats will vary slightly from the picture, depending on your track/pole width as all goblet pleat curtains are pleated by hand specifically to fit your requirements.
When used with a motorised track there will always be a flat section of curtain (in between the pleats) that will cover the motor and the position of the last pin might need adjusting depending on the size of the pleats.

Designer Linings (non blackout) – choose from a stunning Pembroke Stripe or Plain Seabrook which features a fine herringbone design to mimic a weave effect. These linings are poly cotton sateen linings which drape beautifully to add a sophisticated finish to your curtains.

Designer Blackout Linings – choose from a stunning Newbury Stripe or Seabrook featuring a subtle herringbone stripe to mimic a weave effect. The blackout linings are 3 pass polyester linings to add a sophisticated finish to your curtains.

Whilst we will endeavour to fulfil our delivery promises once the goods leave our warehouse we do rely on 3rd parties to fulfil their obligations. We therefore recommend that a fitter or decorator isn’t booked until the goods are safely in your hands and have been checked for damage and any missing items. To reduce the likelihood of having to return a product, we do recommend paint sample pots, wallpaper and fabric swatches are ordered prior to ordering the full sized items.
