It’s the attention to the final details that can really make a room feel finished. Cushions are a pivotal part of completing the look. Co-ordinating cushions with your wallpaper, curtains or bedding sets is a popular choice, or you can pick up an accent colour in your room for a tonal look. A contrasting, complementing colour can also work well and add interest to create a statement. Layering and mixing cushions will add texture, warmth and a homely feel to your living spaces.
William Morris At Home Lodden Rectangular Cushion
Introducing the beautiful Lodden rectangular cushion by William Morris At Home. William Morris had a great admiration for rivers, from the humble stream that passed by Kelmscott Manor to the great River Wandle that he used to dye his textiles at Merton Abbey. From 1883 Morris began designing a series of gently flowing patterns named after tributaries of the river Thames. The ‘Lodden’ pattern is part of this series, named after the river Loddon, that flows through Berkshire and Hampshire. In rich deep blue and olive-green tones, the Lodden design is digitally printed onto a sophisticated linen-look base and has a complementary plain, cotton-velvet reverse. This statement cushion is finished with a jewel-coloured blue fringing, for a luxurious touch.
Dimensions: 40cm x 60cm.
This design is also available in a square 50cm x 50cm cushion size.
