The Rolls Museum range of wooden curtain poles are elegant, timeless and add a perfect finishing touch to your window. They are available in a range of traditional and contemporary finishes complementing classic and modern interior design styles. The wooden curtain poles are available in a 35mm, 45mm and 55mm. The 45mm and 55mm are also available as a corded wooden curtain pole. A bespoke paint service is also available on this range so your favourite Museum pole set can be painted in a colour of your choice to perfectly compliment your interior colour scheme.
Curtain Pole Contents:
This 35mm Rolls Museum wooden curtain pole comes complete with pole(s), 2 stylish Florence style finials, wooden cup brackets and rings. Poles 300cm and above are supplied in 2 pieces and come with a centre bracket and joining screw. The 240cm pole is a single pole and is supplied with 3 brackets. 2 brackets are supplied on the 120cm and 180cm lengths. We offer a free cut to length service on this product range. Co-ordinating holdbacks are also available. These look great to hold your curtains back, but also look stunning as a tieback hook to hold a more decorative tieback. Please see accessories below.

Curtain Heading Recommendations
These curtain poles are suitable for all curtain heading types, however for a smoother draw eyelet curtains are better suited to a metal curtain pole.
Curtain headings that require curtain rings such as a pencil pleat, pinch pleat or other gathered headings, are a more popular choice on a wooden curtain pole. Shop our range of readymade pencil pleat curtains including iconic and more contemporary designs from leading homeware brand Laura Ashley.
Made to Measure Curtains:
You may prefer made to measure curtains for your curtain pole. Shop our range of fabrics that can be made into beautiful curtains to fit your requirements, with a variety of curtain heading and lining options.

Readymade curtains are only suitable for curtain poles up to 360cm. If you require curtains to fit a wider pole, or you have a drop longer than the standard readymade drops made to measure curtains are the perfect choice.
Curtain Pole Measuring Guide
Decide where the pole is to be positioned. This is usually above the window with the pole extending either side beyond the window.
Step 1: Measure the width of your window.
Step 2: The chart below provides guidance for making an allowance either side of your window for your curtain stack (shown as ‘B’ on the diagram above). This is particularly important if you want the curtains to clear the glazing when open. Please note the curtain heading, fabric thickness and lining specification will affect the width of the stack back. How much you would like the curtains to clear the window is down to personal preference. The chart below however is a good guide.
Step 3: Add the width of your window onto the ‘B’ measurement (x 2 for a pair of curtains) to give you the finished track length (A).
Please note this is just a guide so we recommend choosing the pole length available within your preferred curtain pole range that best suits your requirements. All poles can be cut to size with a junior hacksaw. We offer a cut to size service on some curtain pole ranges. Please read our measuring guide blog post for further information.
