Rolls Modern Country Button 45mm Wood Curtain Pole
The Modern Country curtain pole range is a collection of stunning hand finished curtain poles available in a 45mm or 55mm diameter in a choice of painted and natural washed & waxed finishes. The variety of colours and finial styles available gives them the versatility to complement a variety of interior design styles and colour schemes. The 55mm looks very impressive in large rooms and works well at tall ceilings. The wider diameters balance heavy fabrics or heavily lined curtains to give a sophisticated finish to your room. Poles up to 300cm are supplied in one piece which means you can put 2 together giving a maximum width of 6m. This is a great solution for extra wide windows or bi-fold doors. Poles 300cm and above are supplied with a centre bracket. This pole is also available as a corded curtain pole. Please see corded product for more details.
Curtain Pole Contents:
This pole comes as a complete curtain pole set including pole(s), 2 finials, wooden cup brackets and 10 rings per metre. Metal brackets are available should you prefer this look. Eyelet Curtains
The eyelet size on readymade eyelet curtains is 40mm and as such isn’t compatible with a 45mm pole. If you are considering eyelet curtains we offer the option of a 66mm eyelet, as part of our made to measure curtain making service, which is an ideal size for a 45mm curtain pole. Curtain Heading Recommendations
A 45mm curtain pole works exceptionally well with tall ceilings or extra wide windows and with heavy fabrics. Floor length, interlined curtains complement the wide diameter of this pole to deliver an opulent, yet well proportioned look.
Readymade pencil pleat curtains are suitable, however made to measure curtains that can be interlined are more suited to the look of this pole to deliver a real wow statement at your window.
Double or Triple Pinch Pleat Heading
A double or triple pinch pleat curtain heading is a popular choice with floor length, inter-lined, curtains that will drape beautifully. A double pinch pleat offers a more modern look, with a triple pinch pleat delivering a window dressing that is timeless and luxurious.
Eyelet Curtain Heading
Eyelet curtains are a popular choice for contemporary styling and are better suited to metal curtain poles. You can specify a 66mm eyelet when ordering our made to measure eyelet curtains which are an ideal size for a 45mm curtain pole.

Curtain Pole Measuring Guide
Decide where the pole is to be positioned. This is usually above the window with the pole extending either side beyond the window.
Step 1: Measure the width of your window.
Step 2: The chart below provides guidance for making an allowance either side of your window for your curtain stack (shown as ‘B’ on the diagram above). This is particularly important if you want the curtains to clear the glazing when open. Please note the curtain heading, fabric thickness and lining specification will affect the width of the stack back. How much you would like the curtains to clear the window is down to personal preference. The chart below however is a good guide.
Step 3: Add the width of your window onto the ‘B’ measurement (x 2 for a pair of curtains) to give you the finished track length (A).
Please note this is just a guide so we recommend choosing the pole length available within your preferred curtain pole range that best suits your requirements. Whilst we will endeavour to fulfil our delivery promises once the goods leave our warehouse we do rely on 3rd parties to fulfil their obligations. We therefore recommend that a fitter or decorator isn’t booked until the goods are safely in your hands and have been checked for damage and any missing items. We cannot be held responsible for any fitter or decorator cancellations.
