Artisan Wrought Iron Double Curtain Poles
The curtain poles in the Artisan collection are handmade solid wrought iron poles. They have a timeless appeal and are perfect for a country home or to complement an industrial style. The standard curtain poles are available in a 12mm and 16mm diameter. Bay window curtain poles are also available in this range.
Please note the pole length excludes the finials.
This wrought iron double curtain pole features a 12mm pole at the back and a 16mm pole at the front. This is great for creating a layering effect and featuring a voile or sheer on the back pole and a heavier curtain on the front pole.
Curtain Pole Contents
This pole set is supplied with finials, brackets and 10 rings per metre as standard. Discrete Stopper style finials are supplied on all the 12mm poles. This double curtain pole comes with the Stopper style finials on the front 16mm pole. Poles 200cm and above are supplied in 2 pieces with 3 brackets. Extra rings are available to order separately, along with extra brackets, recess brackets and holdbacks. Please see accessories below. Please note the 16mm rings are used on the 12mm and 16mm poles.

Made to Measure Curtains:
You may prefer made to measure curtains for your curtain pole. Shop our range of fabrics that can be made into beautiful curtains to fit your requirements.
Readymade curtains are only suitable for curtain poles up to 360cm. If you require curtains to fit a wider pole, or you have a drop longer than the standard readymade drops made to measures curtains are the perfect choice.

Curtain Pole Measuring Guide
Decide where the pole is to be positioned. This is usually above the window with the pole extending either side beyond the window.
Step 1: Measure the width of your window.
Step 2: The chart below provides guidance for making an allowance either side of your window for your curtain stack (shown as ‘B’ on the diagram above). This is particularly important if you want the curtains to clear the glazing when open. Please note the curtain heading, fabric thickness and lining specification will affect the width of the stack back. How much you would like the curtains to clear the window is down to personal preference. The chart below however is a good guide.
Step 3: Add the width of your window onto the ‘B’ measurement (x 2 for a pair of curtains) to give you the finished track length (A).
Please note this is just a guide so we recommend choosing the pole length available within your preferred curtain pole range that best suits your requirements. All poles can be cut to size with a junior hacksaw. We offer a cut to size service on some curtain pole ranges. Please read our measuring guide blog post for further information.

Whilst we will endeavour to fulfil our delivery promises once the goods leave our warehouse we do rely on 3rd parties to fulfil their obligations. We therefore recommend that a fitter or decorator isn’t booked until the goods are safely in your hands and have been checked for damage and any missing items. We cannot be held responsible for any fitter or decorator cancellations.

To reduce the likelihood of having to return a product, we do recommend paint sample pots, wallpaper and fabric swatches are ordered prior to ordering the full sized items.
