Curtain Poles Available in a 12mm and 16mm Diameter
The Artisan collection comes in two diameters: 12mm and 16mm. The 12mm offers a more delicate look, perfect for lighter curtains or smaller windows. The 16mm diameter provides a bolder statement, ideal for larger windows, heavier curtains, or rooms with high ceilings.
The Artisan range is supplied as a complete pole set including the poles themselves, finials, rings, brackets and fixings. The finials and poles can be easily cut to size with a hacksaw, ensuring a perfect fit for any window.
Artisan Double Curtain Poles
A double pole is also available in the Artisan portfolio, featuring a 12mm pole on the back with a stopper finial, and a 16mm pole on the front with a finial of your choice.
Double curtain poles offer a wealth of benefits compared to single poles. They allow you to create a layered window treatment, combining sheer / voile curtains for daytime privacy and light diffusion with heavier curtains for nighttime darkness and added insulation. This layered effect adds depth and visual interest to your windows, and gives you ultimate control over light and privacy depending on your needs and requirements throughout the day.
Artisan Bay Window Curtain Poles
A range of bay window curtain poles are available in the 16mm diameter. The Artisan bay pole sets are available in a 300cm and 400cm length. Two poles of equal size are supplied with each pole kit. Please see the product pages for diagrams of where the corner bends are positioned. The poles are joined together by a central bracket. Each pole is secured centrally to enable the rail to be bent into each corner of the bay.
Portiere Rods
Portiere rods can be used over a door to help eliminate drafts and insulate your room. You can also use them as a curtain pole in a dormer window where space is limited for a more traditional style of curtain pole. The Artisan portiere rods are available in the 12mm diameter and the poles are 1m long. A 50cm mini portiere rod is also available.
