It is water based and fully washable. It will give tremendous service in a busy home and is an ideal solution for those who want durability with a soft, low-sheen finish. Fully washable.

Suitable for most surfaces including walls, woodwork and primed metals such as radiators and pipework. Covers approximately 14 square metres per litre (one coat).

Distemper – commonly used in older buildings.

A traditional breathable paint, commonly used in older buildings and loved because of its soft, powdery finish. Water-based and environmentally friendly, our Distemper is strengthened to be wipeable but is not recommended for areas of high traffic or condensation.

Floor Paint – can be used on wooden or concrete floors.

Painting the floor is an easy yet dramatic way to change the feel of a room, and with most of the Little Greene colour range at your fingertips you can be as bold or as subtle as you like. This floor paint has an attractive and extremely tough mid sheen finish and uses our eco-oil recipe, which has been formulated using naturally occurring vegetable oils. Completely washable and hard-wearing.

Flat Oil Eggshell – suitable for most surfaces including woodwork and primed metals e.g. radiators and pipework.

A low odour, modern oil-based paint which resists staining and general wear and tear. Surface dry in 4 hours, re-coat in 16 hours. Fully washable.

Intelligent Satinwood – suitable for painting kitchen cabinets, wooden furniture, wooden trims and walls.

This pain is extremely hard wearing and able to withstand the many knocks delivered to kitchen cabinets and wooden furniture! A dream to apply, the paint is dry within four hours. It is also washable and low odour.

Intelligent Floor Paint – suitable for all floors and interior woodwork

This revolutionary water-based paint is suitable for all floors and interior woodwork within the busy home. East to apply and, unlike oil-based alternatives, low odour and dry within four hours. Intelligent floor paint is durable and washable. No more waiting overnight for the floor to dry, or complicate logistics whilst waiting for the stairs to dry! Life can continue virtually seamlessly with this intelligent alternative!
Finishes for Exteriors Include:

Intelligent Exterior Eggshell – suitable for all exterior woodwork.

A high performance, self-priming opaque wood finish with excellent penetration, making it one of the smartest choices for exterior joinery. It is virtually odourless and inhibits mould and algal growth. It is weather resistant and completely washable. It can also be used on suitably primed metalwork. Surface dry in hours, recoat in 16 hours.

Masonry Paint – suitable for brick, stone or rendered walls.

Gone are the days of a limited colour choice for exterior painting. Little Greene’s water-based Masonry Paint is available in almost all colours. Use it to achieve a long-lasting matt finish on brick, stone or rendered walls. Quick drying to a smooth finish. Will last 15 years on exterior walls before repainting is required. Resists dirt. Contains anti-fungal and anti aging properties to look good for longer. Covers approximately 13 square meters per litre (one coat).

Limewash Paint – recommended for exterior use only on lime render and porous stone

Limewash is a very traditional finish, used to decorate and protect porous stone and lime-rendered surfaces. Like Distemper, Limewash is a breathable finish making it suitable for old and damp-problematic walls. Unlike paint, limewash penetrates the surface and the colour is built up by applying successive coats. Water-based. Please note limewash is made to order so please allow 7-10 days for delivery.

Tom’s Oil Eggshell – suitable for use on exterior woodwork and metalwork.

The preferred finish of one of our senior chemists, this exterior eggshell, opaque would finish has excellent flow, giving a beautiful low sheen on woodwork and metalwork. It is extremely durable with a flexible finish. Weather resistant and completely washable. Surface dry in 4 hours. Recoat in 16 hours.

Intelligent Gloss Paint – suitable for interior woodwork, plaster walls and primed metals

A tough, water-based, fully washable paint with a high sheen. Intelligent Gloss is a quick-drying alternative Oil Gloss and is suitable for interior and exterior use. It is ideal for use on interior woodwork, metals and plaster walls, particularly in rooms which need to be cleaned frequently such as kitchens and bathrooms.

Traditional Oil Gloss Paint – looks fabulous on front doors but can also be used on woodwork and primed metalwork.

Oil Gloss has a classic high sheen which is popular (and looks very smart) on front doors and also used on interior / exterior woodwork and primed metalwork. Extremely hard wearing and shiny enough to reflect a lot of light. Oil Gloss is both practical and extremely elegant and uses our eco-oil recipe, which has been formulated with naturally occurring vegetable oils. Completely washable.
