Cameron Fuller’s Metal Curtain Poles
Cameron Fuller’s metal curtain poles are available in either a 19mm or 32mm diameter. Portiere rods, French curtain poles and curtains poles suitable for bay windows are also offered in the 19mm range. Double curtain poles are also available in a 19mm / 19mm and 19mm / 32mm diameter.
The range of metal curtain pole finishes complements contemporary and traditional interior design styles. The chalk, nimbus, oyster, slate, almond, ash and white finishes provide a beautiful colour pallet of neutral tones ranging from whites and creams, to taupes and greys working well with a variety of colour schemes. Black works well in both modern and traditional settings complementing darker windows and bi-fold / sliding doors that are prevalent on the market. Black also works well in country cottages to give a wrought iron look. Pewter, graphite and bronze are perfect for a more traditional look.
Cameron Fuller’s Straight Curtain Poles
Cameron Fuller offers a stunning range of straight metal curtain poles, available in either a 19mm or 32mm diameter. Each of these curtain poles are available in 11 finishes and 9 different finial styles to complement both contemporary and more traditional interior design styles.
The collar and end stopper finial styles are great for a simple, modern yet stylish finish or if space is limited beyond your window. If you are after a more traditional look you may wish to consider the cage, curl, spear or ball finial styles.
The 19mm poles are slim and work well for light to medium weight curtains. If you have heavier curtains you may wish to consider the 32mm range of poles. Both diameters are suitable for eyelet curtains. Each straight pole comes with standard brackets and fixings. We also offer the option to upgrade to extension or adjustable loop brackets which is recommended for eyelet curtains so the curtains don’t rub on the walls. You may also wish to consider the longer brackets if you need the pole to project further away from the window due to a radiator or deeper window sill. Recess brackets are also available within the Cameron Fuller range. These enable the pole to butt up to the side wall.
Double Curtain Poles
Cameron Fuller offers a beautiful range of double metal curtain poles, perfect for creating a layered effect with your curtains. Each of these poles are available in 11 finishes with a choice of 9 finial styles for the front pole and a choice of two discrete finial styles for the back pole (collar or end stopper). These are great for both contemporary and more traditional interior design styles.
The double curtain poles are available in either a 19mm / 19mm or 32mm /19mm diameter. The 19mm range features a 19mm pole at the back and front, and the 32mm range features a 19mm pole at the back with a 32mm pole at the front for heavier curtains. These poles are available up to 400cm and are supplied with double brackets and fixings.
Cameron Fuller Bay Window Curtain Poles
The Cameron Fuller 19mm bay curtain pole is available in a variety of finishes and finial styles, complementing traditional and modern interior design styles. They are suitable for bay windows up to 4.8m long and can be supplied with 1, 2, 4 or 6 bends (including return bends). Please note the pole cannot be bent as a gradual curve.
The bay pole will be supplied and bent to your requirements, however please note the pole will be supplied over sized so that it can be cut to the exact size on site. A drilling piece is included in the fittings pack so that you can drill holes into the poles where required for the passing brackets.
Please download our bay curtain pole measuring form without returns here, or if you require returns please click on this link to download the ‘with returns’measuring form. If you require a mix of ceiling and wall fix brackets please let us know which brackets you would like where on the measuring form.
The pole kits include: poles bent as per your requirements, 3 standard brackets (one for each end of the pole and one for the centre), a centre connecting piece (for split poles), support brackets (Cameron Fuller will supply the required number for your window measurements and shape), 1 C ring for every 10cm of pole, 1 x pair of finials.
A Unique Solution: Cameron Fuller’s special pass bracket supports the pole near the corners and by using the unique ‘C’ ring, a single curtain can be pulled smoothly around a full half of the pole. The poles are bent in the factory to enable a smooth glide around the corners.
Cameron Fuller’s Portiere Rods
Cameron Fuller offers a stunning range of metal portiere rods. These are a fantastic solution for fixing a curtain behind a door, for eliminating drafts, or for dormer windows. These portiere rods are available in a 19mm diameter. They also come with a choice of 11 different finishes and 9 finial styles to complement modern and more traditional interior design styles. These poles can also be cut to size with a junior hacksaw to fit your requirements.
For use over a door:
The hinge attaches to the door frame or return wall (this can be fixed on the left or right hand side). The pole rests on a support bracket fixed on the door at the opposite end to the hinge bracket, that allows the door to open and close without moving the curtain. A second pole support is supplied and can be mounted on the return wall. The pole can then be lifted up and swung off the door and placed on that support when the curtain is not required across the door.
Please note that the curtain should be double sided as, when in the open position, the inside of the curtain will be clearly visible. These poles are only suitable for doors that open inwards (pull towards you).
For use in a dormer window:
This portiere rod can be used at a dormer window, or small recessed window, by attaching the hinge bracket to the adjacent wall to the window (either on the left or right hand side). The portiere rod swings into position to cover the window with a curtain when required, then swings back to the wall when not in use. For larger dormer windows you can fix 2 poles (one either side).
The portiere rods are supplied at a set length of 1.2m which can be cut down to size on site to fit your requirements.
The portiere rod kit contains:
- 1 x Portiere hinge/bracket (to be fixed to the door frame or return wall)
- 1 x 19mm 1.2m Pole (please note the pole length excludes the finial)
- 2 x Sliding brackets
- 1 x Finial
- 2 x Locking collars (to keep the curtain in place on the pole)
- 12 x Rings
Cameron Fuller’s French Poles
The Cameron Fuller French poles allow your curtains to fully return to the wall, to help reduce light ingress. The poles are supplied with a 90 degree bend to bring the curtains back to the walls. The French poles are available in a variety of finishes, complementing traditional and modern interior design styles.
The French poles are available in an ‘up to 2m’ and ‘up to 4m’ size. This is the maximum window size for each pack size. Longer poles are supplied to account for the return bends. The poles can be cut down to size on site to fit your requirements with a fine tooth saw. Please ensure both poles are cut to the same length, so the centre bracket remains central.
The French poles are ideal for hanging all types of curtains that require curtain rings. To stop the curtains pulling away from the walls, simply fit the last curtain ring between the end bracket and locking collar to hold it in place. Eyelet curtains can also be fitted however, the eyelets may be too large to fit between the brackets and locking collars to hold the ends of the curtains in place.
Please note the poles are not suitable for use with a single curtain as the rings will not pass over the centre bracket.
The French pole kits contain:
2 x 1.5m poles with one bend in each 2 x 2.4m poles with one bend in each
2 x end wall brackets 2 x end wall brackets
1 x centre joiner and centre bracket 1 x centre joiner and centre bracket
2 x locking collars 2 x locking collars
20 x rings 40 x rings
Co-ordinating holdbacks and draw rods are also available to finish the look. Draw rods are great for light coloured or delicate fabrics so you can open and close your curtains without touching them.
