The Dorothy’s Kilim fabric features in the Emery Walker’s House collection by Morris & Co. This collection is inspired by the love between friends and the legacy of a truly historic home.
The delicately embroidered stripe design of this striking kilim lends to a room a diversity of pattern as well as added depth and a tactile finish. Dorothy’s Kilim draws from the original found in the bedroom of Dorothy Walker, the well-travelled daughter of Sir Emery (noted typographer and close friend of William Morris’s). This colourful kilim is decorated in the Persian style and features geometric motifs typical of kilims from the old Persian Empire — Turkey and Turkic states. This fabric is available in 2 beautiful colour ways and is suitable for curtains, blinds and cushions.

We therefore recommend that a fitter or decorator isn’t booked until the goods are safely in your hands and have been checked for damage and any missing items. To reduce the likelihood of having to return a product, we do recommend paint sample pots, wallpaper and fabric swatches are ordered prior to ordering the full sized items.
