Nature Luxe
The Home Of Interiors Nature Luxe Trend
Nature Luxe is a serene and sumptuous trend combining luxury elements with biophilic influences. Inspired by the tranquillity of the natural world, it aims to create a feeling of sophisticated calmness by bringing the outdoors in in a way that promotes sustainability and more eco-conscious interiors. Deep, earthy / forest greens and warm neutral tones are prominent in the trend, together with pops of opulent gold for a luxury twist on the natural theme. Subtle botanical prints and richly textured plain fabrics such as velvet and boucle also lend themselves well to the trend, as do natural materials such as wood, linen, stone, and rattan.

How to work the trend!
- Create an earthy foundation with a beautiful warm neutral paint colour on your walls. Creams, soft beiges and taupes evoke a sense of comfort and are the ideal backdrop for bolder elements. The Little Greene paint collection is a fantastic go to, offering a superb palette of neutrals across a wide spectrum of eco friendly finishes that are kinder to the natural environment.
- If you’d like to add a feature wall, consider subtle botanical designs that connect with nature, or understated designs with gentle metallic accents.
- Keep window treatments natural with a beautiful linen or cotton fabric for an airy feel and a sense of organic luxury. Warwick offer some superb sustainable plains including Laundered Linen (100% linen) and Loire, a plain made from recycled polyester and organic cotton. Alternatively, you could consider a linen effect eco fabric such as the gorgeous Elio by Romo. Opting for light-filtering curtains will also not only brighten your space but create a connection to the outdoors. Harlequin’s 100% linen Lucent Sheer is a beautiful choice or consider the Prestigious Textiles Whisp fabric, a sustainable, linen-look, semi-sheer made from recycled materials.
- Accessorise with a complementary curtain pole to complete your window treatment. Natural wooden poles lend themselves well to the Nature Luxe trend. We particularly love the Hallis Eden curtain pole range for its natural charm and sustainable production. Alternatively, add a touch of luxe with metallic accents. A brushed effect metal pole such as the Rolls Neo 28mm curtain pole with clear faceted ball finials will add a hint of glamour to the natural scheme in a harmonious way.
- Create a cosy seating area with a curvaceous sofa and comfortable armchair complete with gold metallic feet and fixings. Upholstered in a rich emerald / sage green velvet or a cosy boucle fabric, these furnishings will allow you to play with textures and colour in a way that creates a relaxed feel with an organic and luxurious undertone. The Harlequin Performance Boucle and Warwick Boucle collections offer some fantastic options. We also love the Prestigious Textiles Cambell Fergus boucle fabric. For velvet, consider the Designers Guild Velluto and Warwick lovely velvets or for an eco option, choose the Clarke & Clarke Riva velvet, made entirely from recycled materials!
- Tie the look together with some accentuating cushions. Plain velvet cushions such as Laura Ashley’s Nigella cushion in tonal greens or neutrals would work well for added indulgence. Equally, you could opt for some cushions with leafy motifs such as Graham & Brown’s Bohemia velvet design as a nod to the outdoor world.
- Keep furniture and flooring natural. Embrace materials like wood, stone and rattan that bring a textural element with a connection to nature.
- Incorporate gold or brass metallic accents through lighting fixtures, picture frames, or sculptures.
- For finishing touches, add a beautiful textured rug for added depth and cosiness. We particularly love the Clarke & Clarke Gabrielle rug in Natural, hand woven from a mixture of PET recycled fibres and wool for sustainability.
- Strategically placed houseplants and greenery will bring the trend to life. Ferns, palms, and succulents add a touch of the tropics, whilst trailing plants will help to soften any hard lines.
