Silent Gliss have beautifully balanced style with function in their Metropole range. Silent Gliss’s range of fabrics feature superior performance in sustainability, acoustic management and light and energy management delivering a range that complements modern living. All Silent Gliss’s fabrics are inherently flame retardant for added peace of mind, and are dyed before being woven so have increased light fastness, reduced light fading ensuring they last the test of time. Curtains can be made up to a drop of 4m so are ideal in rooms with floor to ceiling glazing. Voiles / Sheers
A voile / sheer fabric is an ideal fabric for providing some shading / privacy at your window whilst still allowing the light into a room. Semi-Sheers
If you require a higher level of privacy or would like more shading a semi sheer can work well. Semi sheers still deliver a lighter feel than a standard fabric, yet offer increased privacy. Modern Living Spaces
Acoustic Fabrics
Silent Gliss’s fabrics offer superior acoustic properties, helping to absorb sound. This can be particularly advantageous in open plan living spaces, featuring a lot of hard surfaces such as kitchen units, wooden or stone floors and glazing, that all help to bounce sound around a room. Light Management and Glare Protection
With the increase in the amount of glazing featuring in our living spaces, the ability to reflect light and heat back out of a room is even increasing. Dimout / Blackout Fabrics

Please note these fabrics have been designed to be unlined, however, without a lining on the curtains there will be a stitch line along the bottom seam which is visible when light penetrates through the fabric. If the curtains sit against a wall this won’t be noticeable, but it will be visible in the daytime if the curtains are drawn across floor to ceiling glazing.
