Triple Pinch Pleat Curtains

Triple pinch pleat curtains have small groups of pleats separated by flat sections of fabric, pinch pleat curtain hooks are used at each pleat, so the curtains are suspended by the pleats with flat fabric between.   Pinch pleats give a more formal look and the curtains tend to hang in uniform folds. The pinch pleat heading can also be made with double pleats to create a less full more modern looking curtain if preferred, this will also require less fabric to make the curtain.

This heading looks best when hung beneath a curtain  pole, however, can be used on a track also.  If you are using on a track we would recommend one of the Silent Gliss tracks that use the break system so the curtains don’t spring back when open.

It is important to carefully measure your track or pole as curtains are made to an exact fit.

Why Choose Triple Pinch Pleat Curtains?

  • Can be used on tracks or poles but looks best on poles
  • Versatile – Can be used under pelmets and valances but looks best on their own
  • Suitable for most styles of fabric
  • Suitable for all curtain widths and room heights
  • Very well suited to both modern and traditional homes
  • Can be made into a long continuous curtain when using ‘Wide Width’ fabrics so there are no joins in your curtains.
  • Hanging height is fixed by the position of the pins located in the back of the pleats.

Please note that the size and spacing of the pleats will vary slightly from the picture, depending on your pole/track width as all pinch pleat curtains are pleated by hand specifically to fit your requirements.

When used with a motorised track there will always be a flat section of curtain (in between the pleats) that will cover the motor and the position of the last pin might need adjusting depending on the size of the pleats.

Now you have selected your heading style, we will show you all the fabric options based on this heading type.  If you have found a fabric we don’t have listed, this isn’t a problem, please give us a call to discuss and receive your quote.

The next stage will be to specify your requirements for linings and interlinings and then add the finishing touches, such as trimmings or co-ordinated fabric holdbacks.
