To set up the Dawn and Dusk functionality, first add your location to the box setting (in My Box settings) this will ensure the correct timing for dawn and dusk. Then follow the steps below:
1. Create scene 2. Create my own scene 3. Schedule 4. When? 5. Dusk and/or Dawn
What is the “Thermal comfort” pre-set scene and how to configure it on the TaHoma app?
This scene gives you the opportunity to optimize your comfort all year round by automating your solar protection according to your devices, the season and the time of day.
A pre-set scene will be offered to you, but you are free to adapt the conditions, the actions and the timing whenever.
In the “Scenes” menu, click on “Create a new scene”, then “Thermal comfort”.
The steps to configure it:
Identify and configure your most exposed façade (the other façades can be configured later)
Choose the equipment that is on this façade: 2 options:
Installation with light sensors + solar protection (roller shutters, EVB, interior screens etc)
Installation with solar protections only (roller shutters, EVB, interior screens etc)
Two pre-set scenes will automatically be configured:
Case 1: installation without sensors
Summer programming:
Closure at dawn +3h
Opening 50% at dusk -4h
Opening 100% at dusk -2h
Winter programming:
Opening at dawn +1h
Closure at dusk
Case 2: installation with external light sensors
Summer programming:
Closure if light >40 000 lux
Opening if light <20 000 lux
Winter programming:
Opening after x am if light >40 000 lux
Closure after x pm if light <20 000 lux
You can completely customise the settings of your scenes, such as:
time slots
light thresholds (in case of an installation with light sensors)
percentage of opening/closure of the solar protection (for products allowing it)
days of the week

Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS) is Somfy’s exclusive control platform which enables users to adjust motorised interior window coverings and motorised exterior products such as awnings, rolling shutters, pergolas and screens from virtually anywhere.

How does it work?
A simple press of a button on a remote control or wireless wall switch sends out a radio wave signal to move any motorised interior or exterior window coverings with ease. There is no need to point or aim the transmitter because RTS is omnidirectional and operates within a range of up to 65 feet. And just like a garage door opener, the radio waves travel through walls, making control of motorised products easier than ever.

Window coverings powered by Somfy can be integrated with total home control systems. Somfy motors are compatible with third-party home automation systems, allowing the user to access and control their motorized window treatments from their home automation remote, touch-screen, wall panel or smartphone, which also controls lighting, security, HVAC and audio-video equipment.
