The Minako voile fabric design features in the versatile Atelier collection by Harlequin. This luxurious, wide-width voile showcases a beautiful, striking landscape, using a combination of layered inkwork and a vibrant colour palette. Suitable for curtains and blinds, this multipurpose fabric is available in 3 eye-catching colourways to complement a range of interior design styles and colour schemes. This design is also available as a beautiful velvet. Please see accessories below.

If using for curtains, please note the Minako voile fabric is a wide width fabric (292cm) and is railroaded. This allows the fabric to hang without any joins, working particularly well for curtains with the contemporary wave heading. Please note due to the lightweight design of this fabric, we don’t recommend the curtains are lined as the sheer fabric on occasion can cling to the lining and you can see the lining joins through the fabric.  Sheer (voile) fabrics look best unlined to allow light to penetrate into the room yet provide a level of shading / privacy.

The Minako Voile features in our Contemporary Coastal Trend.  Click here for Contemporary Coastal design inspiration and ideas.

Shop The Look:

The fabric houses design their collections so the fabrics within the collections complement each other and work together tonally. This Minako Voile works really well with the coordinating Minako Velvet design within the Harlequin Atelier collection.  If you’ve chosen the Minako Voile for your curtains or a roman blind, the velvet can also be used for curtains to create the perfect layered window treatment.  Mixing textured fabrics delivers a striking look for a real wow factor. Alternatively, a plain roller blind could complement this fabric beautifully. If you’ve chosen the Minako Voile for curtains or a roman blind, the roller blind could sit within the window recess for an elegant, layered finish. The Clarke & Clarke plain roller blinds are available in a plethora of colours to complement your chosen fabric and a variety of finishes to deliver different levels of shading, from sheers to blackout blinds.

To add texture and depth to your room, Harlequin’s Hamada Weaves collection works well.  The Nickel, Mishima and Lizella designs work particularly well with the Minako Voile and can be used for cushions to really bring the look together.

A textured wallpaper is a perfect accessory to the bold design of this fabric.  It can add depth and interest without detracting from or fighting with the fabric.  We particularly love the Harlequin Textured Walls Commix, Perpetua and Parapet.

Metal accessories complete the look beautifully.  The Silent Gliss Metropole is a fantastic curtain track option that will provide a neat, stylish finish to your window treatment.
