The ICE collection of acrylic curtain poles from Hallis Hudson will add an air of elegance and style to your window.  The range makes a stylish statement marrying clear translucent acrylic poles and detail in the finial designs, with modern metal accents ideal for contemporary design styles.  The look is light, airy and sophisticated.  Poles are available from 120cm to 480cm.  Please note due to the delicate nature of the acrylic material, poles cannot be cut to size at home.  Please use our complementary cut to size service and we will supply the pole at the perfect length for your requirements.  The exact length can be specified when placing your order.   Shop the full range here.

Metal Finishes

The Acrylic curtain poles are supplied with metal brackets, rings and detail in the finials available in a satin brass, satin nickel, polished chrome and black nickel finish to suit your interior scheme.

Satin Brass – offers the warmth of traditional brass with a smooth brushed finish for a contemporary, eye-catching appearance.  This complements furniture with satin brass detailing beautifully.

Satin Nickel – has a warmer grey undertone which is loved by designers and architects for its soft appearance and modern aesthetics.  Ideal for contemporary homes.

Chrome – the high shine of polished Chrome subtly reflects the colours and textures from its surroundings, providing the perfect contrast to the translucency of ICE delivering a stylish, contemporary look.

Black Nickel – chic and timeless the black mirror finish of Black Nickel adds a slightly more masculine edge, complementing the sleek styling of the collection.

Finial Designs

Choose from a choice of five finial designs:

• Pure – a classic ball finial
• Dewdrop – a modern interpretation of the classic ball
• Reflection – inspired by Art Deco lines
• Mineral – a stylised ellipse design
• Cap – a neat and simple end cap

Weight Guidance

The ICE curtain poles are made of solid acrylic for strength and have been designed to provide the durability needed to support curtains and withstand daily use, however due to the delicate nature of the acrylic we recommend light to medium weight curtains are featured on these poles.  The curtain rings supplied with the poles feature a nylon lining to help the curtains move more smoothly along the pole, without scratching the pole.  These poles are not suitable for eyelet curtains as the eyelets could scratch the pole.

Bracket Advice

When ordering you will have the option of specifying wall fix or ceiling fix brackets. Extended wall and ceiling fix brackets are also available to bring the curtain pole further away from the wall or ceiling. Extended wall fix brackets may be useful if you have a wide windowsill or a radiator underneath your window. The extended ceiling fix brackets may be useful to lower the curtain pole below coving. Passing brackets are also available and required for bay windows.  Please see the chart below for advice on the number of brackets that will be supplied with each of the pole lengths.
