Made to Measure Curtains
We offer a range of curtain heading styles including pencil pleat, pinch pleat, eyelet and wave headed curtains. Co-ordinating fabric tiebacks can be added to your order to complete the look.
For a neat, simple and contemporary look an eyelet curtain or a wave curtain may suit your environment. Eyelet and wave curtains deliver a similar look. Please note an eyelet curtain is only suitable for hanging on a curtain pole, and a wave curtain is only compatible with a curtain track or Silent Gliss Metropole. If you aren’t familiar with the wave curtain heading please click here for more information.
For a more traditional look you may prefer a double or triple pinch pleat curtain. A triple pinch pleat delivers a fuller curtain and works well in period homes.
A pencil pleat curtain lends itself to traditional and modern settings. The curtains are gathered to the required width by pulling the draw strings in the curtain tape on the reverse of the curtains.

Roman Blinds
Roman blinds are a very popular window dressing, adding texture and warmth to your room. Roman blinds can be fitted inside or outside the window recess. Please read our blog post that may help you decide where to position your blind!
Roman blinds are ideal if space around the window is limited, or if you have furniture close to the sides of the window that may obstruct curtains. A blind is also a good solution if you have a radiator underneath your window so your radiator can continue to work efficiently when the blind is closed.
We offer the choice of a manual chain operated blind or a motorised blind. Our motorised headrails are supplied with Somfy motors. A motorised blind is a good option if reaching the chain is awkward for example over a kitchen worktop, and are great for children’s bedrooms for ultimate safety. If you purchase the Somfy Ta’Homa Switch you can operate the blinds from an app on your phone so can set the blinds to open and close whilst you are away increasing security of your home.
Cushions
Co-ordinating cushions can be added to your made to measure curtains or roman blind orders, or they can be ordered separately. You may wish to choose a selection of cushions in a co-ordinating fabric or in fabrics that work tonally with your curtains or blinds.
We offer the option of a plain edge or self piped edge for a sophisticated finish. Cushions are available in 3 sizes:
- Square 43cm x 43cm (17″ x 17″)
- Square 50cm x 50cm (20″ x 20″)
- Rectangular 60cm x 40cm (24″ x 16″)
The cushions covers are supplied with a polyester pad.
Layering
Layering a roman blind with another window dressing is a popular option to offer different shading and privacy options throughout the day. Layering a roman blind with a curtain delivers a stylish, sophisticated look. A sheer or blackout roller blind positioned behind a roman blind can offer functional benefits.
Lining Options
To enhance the drape of your curtains and to help protect the fabric from sun damage, we offer a range of lining options for you to choose from for your curtains or roman blinds. A standard lining will allow the light to come through the fabric and is a popular choice for living spaces. Our thermal lining has a 1 pass coating to not only block sunlight, but also to offer thermal and sound insulation properties, helping to conserve energy and dampen noise. Thermal linings are gaining in popularity for both economical and environmental reasons. Blackout linings are a popular choice for bedrooms. They not only stop light from flooding into a room but also offer thermal properties helping to conserve energy. A blackout lining also helps to absorb sound so can improve the acoustics in a room.
